On 25 May 2020, 5 Wentworth Chambers held the first in a Zoom CPD series presented by floor members. It was a Zoom webinar that involved Powerpoint slides. It was attended by more than 90 people, mainly solicitors from top tier law firms in Sydney and Melbourne. The feedback has been effusive. Many people have commented upon the professionalism of the presentation. We could not have achieved this level of success without the assistance of Counsel’s Chambers Limited, in particular their high-quality audio-visual equipment and expert technical assistance. We are looking forward to our next Zoom CPD on 23 June 2020, which will be held in a NSW Dispute Resolution hearing room with CCL’s assistance again.

On behalf of the International Law Section (ILS) of the Law Council of Australia I wish to express my thanks to the New South Wales Bar Association Dispute Resolution Centre for ensuring the success of Lecture 2 of the International Law Section's International Law and Practice Course 2020 which was held by webinar on 18 August 2020.

I extend our sincere thanks and look forward to continuing to work with the Centre in the future.
